WEALTH

WHY Financial Freedom?

One of the most common reasons why many of us are unable to engage in what we need to engage in or what we love to engage in, is lack of time!

Be it exercising, hobbies, family-time, religious/spiritual pursuits, socialising, vacations, whatever!

We watch precious years pass by helplessly, as we expend much of our precious time in earning a living! Many of us postpone gratification of our own valid desires and those of our near and dear ones, endlessly, only to build up frustration and regrets deep into our Being! Such postponement or blatant denial is fine when done out of choice—but certainly not out of compulsions!

Time is the only resource that can be neither shared, nor expanded

Also, we realise that there is very little contribution that Time Management Skills alone can bring in. This is just the tip of the iceberg!

There is a much bigger picture that we need to see, without a bias.

The core objective of seeking Financial Freedom is not money—it is only a ‘means’ to earn the more precious resource, TIME!

With a strong financial base, one can afford sophisticated tools, afford competent support staff, afford high-quality food/personal-care/rest, afford peace-of-mind—those in turn save precious personal time. Time saved is time earned! Isn’t it ?

Some examples:

  • Sophisticated tools help us increase productivity, thereby gains time. Such tools can also takeover mundane tasks giving us more time.
  • Competent support staff can take over various tasks that we currently do, thereby giving us more time.
  • High quality food and personal care increase our health and fitness, thereby increases our productivity and focus, thereby giving us more time.

Success and Satisfaction are subjective in nature and need not go together. But the chances of having both success and satisfaction increase by striking a higher balance in five key dimensions of life:

  • Personal/Family (health, fitness, hobbies, rest, me-time, entertainment, family care etc.)
  • Professional (upgrading skills, networking, planned travel etc.)
  • Social (group outing, social service, friends networking, charity etc.)
  • Intellectual (Reading, upgrading knowledge, debates, research etc.)
  • Spiritual (meditation, chanting, pilgrimage, scriptural study, philanthropy etc.)
Money and Time, together, are fantastic enablers to grant us  the luxury of the balance in the above five dimensions of life!

Let us seek financial abundance without guilt and with a clear purpose
