Learnings

G. Ramanathan

Top 3 learnings which had  impacts on me:

The beautiful mapping of 5 senses with 5 elements… and that it is specifically designed that way and not coincidental.

Rishis could tune themselves to listen to the Vedas. Being a science enthusiast, I can relate to this. It also gives a confidence that if we, the human beings, can also make efforts, we can tune in to such cosmic  voices around this universe.

Karma is a cosmic ‘Law’ as much as we know about the law of gravity or laws of motion. So, karma is not a question of belief, but it is a REALITY.

Divya

My 3 learnings:

Change in my belief

Law of this universe is beyond what we visualise. At the deepest level, it is a profound science and at the surface level, these seem like some connections. Even if I don’t understand, I now believe there is something behind the scenes which I am yet to discover.

Change in my outlook towards professional challenges

Being a HR professional, it was very difficult to accept certain organizational decisions. This is a professional dharma and no need to feel guilty about executing those decisions.

Change in personal belief
There is no need to aim for detaching from oneself. Desires, emotions, etc are real and ok as long as we are in control of it

Gomathi Ramesh

My top 3 learnings :

Living Intelligently- Understanding the five orders of Intelligence Intelligence Vs Intellect.

One habit to question myself …which got internalised before doing anything – Am I interested in doing this or comitted to do it?

Right way of creating Sankalpa and doing It with Shraddha and Sadhana

Rajesh Rao

My Three Learnings from the Joyful Vedanta Session, which gave me new perspective to what I already was aware of.

The Five Orders of Natrue

The audio from Suresh on Sukshma Sharira

The Fundamental Problem explanation the modern way

Pushpa

My Three takeaways till date –

Sheer vastness and depth of our Vedas was mind boggling

Cosmic order is the subtlest order of Dharma and Karma .We can only understand it not control it

What happens in the universe is a change in state-most humbling learning

Thank you Ranga for the clarity and simplicity with which are taking us on the Joyful vedanta journey 🙏🏻

Three learnings from Joyful Vedanta I would like to share are:-

The Architecture of our scriptures has cleared a lot of cobwebs in my head. Have been hearing about and learning some of our scriptures since childhood without a clue as to what came first and how.

The video on awareness by Shri Dandapani has given awareness to my pursuits.

Sankalpa – bonus class has given direction to my Sadhana.

I now feel a little better prepared for the journey on the path of knowledge .

Jayshree

My learnings –

Except for having heard the word vedanta, i did not know anything else about it. What it meant, what are its benefits etc. This journey has been an eye opener for me,.and I’m eagerly waiting to learn and try and imbibe the values in my life.

I always wondered how karma worked. The explanation of kAla, cosmic law and deliberate action has helped.

The 5 koshas, sheaths and also the mapping of medicine to each level was very interesting

Surabhi

Pranaam Everyone 🙏

Every session of joyful vendanta makes me “Mantramugdh” (spellbound). Even tough I have been hearing and using most of the terms like Sankalpa, Panchamahaabhoot, Pancha prana, intelligence, intellect, etc, I realised I never really knew them, they have such profound meaning and significance in life.

The most intriguing portion has been the Sthoola Shareera and Shookshma Shareera. It is so deep and so vast!

Sankalpa Siddhi session was beautiful

Pranams all

My Top 3 Learnings

Vedanta journey is helping me to get my own answers for many why questions. I am not able to answer which chapter or episode is giving these answers. But holistically every learning is connected and helping me on this

It is bringing in the Contributor mindset. Most of my life I was always a consumer. Not sure how much I have contributed to this world. Now the purpose is getting clear and the contributor mindset has chipped in

Vedanta journey is making it very clear that we all are connected. Doing good to others is actually doing good to oneself. This understanding is slowing sinking in

So many more learnings. Thanks Ranga for taking massive efforts in helping us in this journey. Pranams 🙏🏻

Anbulatha

Dear all,

Wish you all very happy New Year 2023 and pray for the same 🙏

My learnings

Mindfully doing the action.

Previously I was doing multiple actions and keeping many in line. Now I am slowly changing that mindset.

Iswaraarpana bhudhhi and prasada bhuddhi

Doing every action with the maximum efforts and accepting the results whatever it may be.

Trying to have a pause before making any decisions..

Thinking from other’s perspective and trying to understand the reason for the decision.🙏

Kiran.A

Pranams All!! There were many learnings throughout the course.

Below are My top 3 learnings:

We can’t learn the unknown from the unknown. We can only learn unknown from the known.

Earlier I used to think why my daughter is not able to understand what I am teaching about religion or our practices, now I understand that I am trying to teach her unknown from unknown.  I need to change my ways to teach her in a way she can correlate.

The driver for any goals

If we feel insecure or we feel strongly desired for something, only then we will continue to work towards the goals.

Practicing gratitude – Each session we end with practising gratitude. This was a very powerful practice, that helps us to be a better person and happier.

Rajani

My three biggest takeaway so far in this wonderful journey is as follows! a) Ignorance leads to Useless actions and Useless knowledge Action Take expert support to overcome this Malam b) Mind must back the senses Action Practice Visualization & Affirmation c) Break the ‘I’ in me Action Through Conscious practice/Sadhana

Indu Rajani

My top 3 learnings

Iswara arpana bhudhhi and prasada bhuddhi – My top most learning from Vedanta sessions…Do your duty without any expectations and dedicate it to Ishwara…

Sankalpa Siddhi – Sadhana – Trying my level best to do this…

Vedanta sessions are clearing lot of doubts..Giving answers for many questions…Started looking at my life in a different way…

You have changed our life for better

Pranams to you Ranga…🙏

Sreelatha

Hari Om 🙏

My learnings

We lead life mostly in autopilot mode. When we encounter certain situations in life, though we are not on autopilot. We act out of ahankara instead of Buddhi. So this leads to karma which might lead to further misery

To lead a better life we need to get into JAgrath state. And to get there we need awareness that which our senses can perceive and beyond. So this journey will help me with the awareness.

For anything to manifest we should set intentions which should be powered by shraddhA and sAdhana

Arangaswamy

My Pranams and deepest gratitude to Ranga and the core team for their earnest efforts making the complex subject as simple as possible for easy assimilation across the variety of learners.

Through these sessions, I realized that our scriptures are not bundle of assumption, presumption, blind beliefs or practices.

Each word or concept has deeper meaning which are understandable and achievable through Sankalpa and Sadhana.

These are my top take aways.🙏

Jyothi Pai

Pranamam and my thanks to Ranga sir and the core team for this wonderful and Joyful journey 🙏🏻

The 3 learnings from this journey:

Ranga Sir’s question “Are you interested or Committed ?” was such a wakeup call for me in many aspects of my day to day activities. Now I tell myself to stay “Committed ” to the decisions that I take. Thank you sir for this simple yet intense question.

The Architecture of our scriptures.

The vastness of our vedas, puranas, shasstras, sutra was always a bit overwhelming for me.  Now in the Joyful Vedanta class I am getting  to know the order. The simple ways in which Ranga sir explains the complex matters with the help of templates is always a joyful learning for me.

In the first class itself Ranga sir introduced the concept of ” Manifest to Unmanifest” was such a revelation.

There are so many concepts which are being introduced and we can actually apply to our daily life is so interesting.

My heartfelt gratitude to Ranga sir and the core team for this.

🙏🏻

Subhashini Rao

A sincere thank you for the flow of awareness through the stream of Joyful vedanta,Ranga sir.

The three ‘ lighthouses’ were

The architecture of our scriptures- its various components became clearer.

The impediments that may arise due to self consciousness. The lofty statement ,” Knowledge makes you acquire many things& wisdom makes you let go of things acquired”.

Life becomes joyful if this is perceived& pursued.

Thirdly, the steps towards sadhana, is the blueprint  to be emulated.

The list will go on sir🙏😊

Jhanavi

Pranams to all and thank you to Ranga and core team

Three take aways for me

There is a structure to everything which when shown to us gives way to many thoughts like the five elements orders and our physical and mental being connected to these elements and orders

The Sadhana analysis and path shown for when and how one should cultivate habits in small doses to achieve something big (I have not started anything but I have an idea now)

Life can go on without joyful Vedanta but with joyful Vedanta it is a lot better. The mundane worries of life is easier to bear.

Knowing the potential of our mind and body and trying to achieve something, a good habit, a good deed is also a takeaway from this joyful Vedanta sessions for me.

MSRK

3 important effects of Joyful Vedanta on my life :

The clarity I got on Architecture of Vedanta and its amazing logical sequencing. ,This cleared all my confusions about the interconnects between Vedanta, Bhagavad Geeta, Puranas and Itihasaa etc. This must be thought in School text book itself.

Every Deliberate Action has a Karma Phala. This statement is always reverberating in my mind nowadays and even small decisions are taken mindfully.

Two Sadhanas , taking long breaths every two hours and listening to a person fully and giving a pause at the end before speaking, I have started consciously practicing.

It is indeed my good Karma that I am part of this group. Thank you Ranga for taking me in this life altering journey.Thank you Ravi for introducing and many thanks to the core team. 🙏🏼

Ranjini. M

Namaste,

Every topic in each of the episodes have been insightful and are so exciting that I always look forward for the next episode.

Each topic is a new learning for me as I am new in this journey, to specifically highlight few:

Architecture of scriptures, I got clarity on different components and difference between each of the components. The structure is presented beautifully in this session which helps us to comprehend and get the overview of scriptures.

About 3 bodies and its constitutions. This topic has intrigued me to further understand this topic in depth.

“Karma is a Cosmic Law”, this statement has created an awareness to be more thoughtful about my actions in day to day life.

Also I am reading Multiple intelligence which was suggested in one of your sessions,  this has given me different perspective of what intelligence is and has helped me to appreciate each other better.

Greatful to be part of this group. 🙏

Rangaraj

Pranams to all and my three key learnings –

1) 5 types of Orders and Lack of Discrimination by Nature with amazing examples (Terrorist muscle building, Rakshas asking for Boon). This helped me to understand the Brahman and Jiva concept.

2) Intelligence and Intellect. How to use the Intelligence to live a life joyfully and Peacefully

3) Structure of our scriptures and understanding of Kaala ( Continuous cycle – Zero and Infinity).

Thanks to Ranga and all the group members. This precious knowledge is very useful both in positive moments and very difficult times of life

Sripathy Ramachandran

The following are my learning  in my joyful Vedanta journey

The is a lot more depth and respect i developed towards our scriptures. The urge to learn more is significant

How our action leads to karmas

What is needed to develop commitment and a systematic and practical approach to implement the same

How the senses and orders of nature are inter related

I sincerely thank Ranga for presenting complex topics in a simple way.

It is definitely a skill and depth of knowledge in the subject that makes it possible to present in a simple way.

I also sincerely thank the core team to organise and co-ordinate the sessions in a very professional way

Yeshvandh

Namasta and deep Gratitiude to Ranga and all the Joyful Learners..

The statement Ranga made in one of the initial sessions – “Welcome to the World of Logic” gave a different perspective to learning Vedanta.

Sharing below 3 of my deep learnings so far in this journey..

The difference between God and Godliness. The example of seed manifesting itself to a Tree and Tree to Seed was so deep..

The Architecture of our Scriptures helped me structure a lot of things in my understanding of our Scriptuires..

Karma is a Cosmic “Law”. Just like “Law” of Gravity, Karma is to be understood. There is no question of belief..
